2025 PERSONAL CONTRACT

Welcome to my first blog post. Like most people, I use the end of each year as a chance to create goal for the upcoming year. As I created a vision board that I have attached in front of my art desk, I took this inspiration from my great friend and business coach Joe Rinaldi. So I created this 2025 personal contract for myself.

I am sharing this not as a way to show you the things that I am doing, but more as a way in hopes that can inspire you and can spark the fire within you to be a better person towards yourself and towards others. Remember, that if you show up with integrity towards yourself, you will be able to show up with integrity to others. Let’s make this year a great one, by making small daily habits that can compound into a greater you!

  • Feed the mind, not the scroll. As my business revolves a lot around social media and the internet, I tend to dive into the addiction of scrolling and I had found myself spend hours in the web without doing any type of work. Life feels so much calmer when I step away from screens, so I am commiting to exchange the rest with reading time. Scrolling drains my energy, while reading fills me with focus and peace. It’s also a chance to slow down, learn deeply, and let my imagination run free-something screens can’t offer. The more I read, the more I can feel connection with myself and escape the noise of the digital world. Committing to 10 books with year and 30 minutes of social media per day.

  • Honoring my word. Doing what I say I would do, even when it’s uncomfortable. This is great way to acknowledge how important what we say is and that our word shouldn’t be taken lightly. This will make me more mindful of the things that I commit to, who I commit to and when to say NO when I know I can’t attain that commitment. I am doing this by running 1 mile every single day. I said I was going to do it, so there’s no excuse that can take me away from the commitment that I give with my word.

  • Less is more. Coming from a maximalist family, this hasn’t come in easy but lately, I’ve embrace the idea that less is truly more. By decluttering my space, saying “NO” to unnecessary commitments, and cutting back on expenses that don’t come from a space of necessity, I am starting to create more room for what truly matters- my art, sense of calmness and create more meaningful moments. I am not fully there yet, but the steps that I already implemented, I had felt the shift in the way I think, create and brings peace in my energy field. I am committing to keep doing the inner work to get to were I want to be with this.

  • Be selective with my time. Lately, I’ve realized that my time is one of the most valuable things I have, and I’ve start3ed being more intentional about how I spend it. It’s easy to get caught up in saying “YES” to everyone. Every plan, every request and every distraction, but it leaves me drained and spread to thin. This is what it’s called the famous word: BURNOUT. Entering the new year, I am focusing on learning to choose more wisely. I ask myself: Does this add value to my life? Does it align with my priorities? If the answer is no, I remind myself that it’s okay to pass. This shift will open up the possibility to create space to focus on the things that matters to me such as quality time with my home, personal rest and personal growth. Being selective isn’t about doing less; it’s about doing what feels meaningful. By honoring my time and fine more energy, balance and peace in my daily life.

  • Education is power. I’ve decided to dedicat4e more time to learning about art and invest in my career so I can bring the best that I can offer. Exploring different styles, tecniques, and composition will deepen my knowledge and get me excited to create more. This commitment feels like a gift to myself and a commitment to my clients.

  • Put God first. It’s been a journey to get to here and I am not in fear to say that putting God first above all in my life is my #1 priority. I’ve been committing in diving into the word of God and has provided me the trust and peace that I haven’t feel in many years. Starting my day with prayer, trusting His plan, and aligning my actions with His purpose is bringing clarity in how I am showing up in my life. When I center my life on Him, everything falls into place. I never have done a bible study but this year I am committing to do one. This has brought me a wonderful online community that is holding the standard to start the day with Him and finish the day with Him.
