Aftercare

Aftercare is one of the most important steps in having the best tattoo and it’s all up to the client’s choices through the aftercare process that will ensure this. 

Please follow these steps:

• If Sani-derm has been put on your tattoo (sticker clear bandage), remove the bandage after 48 hours, unless otherwise instructed.

• If it’s regular wrapping, remove the bandage after 3 hours. 

• Wash the tattoo gently with mild unscented soap ( Recommend Dr. Broner’s castile soap) and warm water. Pat dry. 

• Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment twice a day for 2 weeks. I recommend vitamin E oil, coconut oil, or hustle butter. 

• DO NOT cover it anymore.  

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• No pool, no ocean, no saunas, no hot tubs, and no direct sun for 2 weeks. 

• Do not pick scabs, do not scratch, do not touch it with dirty hands, and do not let anybody touch it.

• Avoid wearing tight clothes or accessories that would rub or scratch the tattoo during healing.
